07.14.02 - 5:32 a.m. - to mean people: please change your mean ways.

the diaryland people that annoy me the most are those that leave mean messages in people's guestbooks or notes without leaving so much as a name. they hide behind the lack of identity.

i mean, they wait until they are in the safety of their bedrooms to type immature stuff like "you're stinky and stupid." they would never have the courage to physically say any of these things directly to someone who might annoy them outside of a fucking website.

the internet makes cowards of people. i know this because i have seen so many friends get dumped online because their significant others did not want to see them cry or they wanted to make it quick as possible.

i'm sorry, i'm just sad because i'm sick of seeing stuff like this happen to people.

and if the internet makes people linguistic or conversational cowards, why am i here? i guess it is because i am doing my best to use what little i have to try to promote some kind of understanding. i admit i'm attracted to the idea of a public diary because i'd be so happy to find out that people feel the same way i do about all this stuff.
