normally i think it is cute when a girl says "god, i wish i wasn't such a girl" but these days i am getting a little angry at the meaning of it.

for one thing, you're a girl. you will always act "like a girl" because you can do nothing else.

we live in a culture where acting "like a man" will get you bludgeoned by the crazier sect of feminists and acting "just like a woman" causes the girls i know to cringe in fear for themselves. it's become more of a slung about accusation than something with real meaning about gender.

and sometimes i wish i wrote for girls-suck.
