sometimes i pit phrases into fights with each other, for example, tonight it's "it turns out i need you" vs. "it turns out i don't need you."
this particular battle turned out to have surprisingly few search results on either side, at least on google anyhow.
but it's always interesting to see if optimism or pessimism wins.
