i was thinkin that memories get all fuzzy and out of focus because they're stored funny, like brains shove them into boxes on shelves for a long while.

and then when brain cells die and regenerate, the old cells have to tell the new cells what they are memories of, but they are like bad grandpas in a director's chair who muddle parts up and make noses smaller.
