sylvia and i went shopping and implemented a modified version of Operation Wear the Same Thing Every Day.

so now i am the proud owner of

3 brown sweaters,
3 dark blue shirts,
3 pairs of dark blue slacks,
10 pairs of black socks
and a pair of plain black shoes.

and a monacle. and a bowler hat. sylvia insisted i use my savings on those. i'm sure they'll come into play soon enough.

i don't expect this to really change my life wildly. in fact i expect it to make things quieter.
