have you ever spent entire nights awake ecstatic because you're no longer trying to sleep? i used to spend my nights fretting over girls i knew and liked if not loved, big gaping nights of seeing the darkness in front of my ceiling and my hands til i thought my hands were walls.

the past days have involved me being awake, clicking away at my computer keys to someone else (a far cry from my earlier days of waiting for certain girls to come home from their raves and thinking something would come of it).

i sleep at school so i can see sunrises with someone really cool, me looking out my window and she from hers.
