09.24.03 - 9:23 a.m. - and i can forget entire conversations that were good

i used to keep anything sylvia left in my room as a souvenir. this is okay, because she buys a lot of junk. last night she left a magnet from some 50s b-movie convention. i told her about it this morning and she said "you can't always keep all my stuff, that's only what you do with people that you hardly ever see" and i guess she's right, so i'm going to give all her stuff back. i guess i am just a terrorist keeping all her toys hostage.

but i think it's nice, that a relationship can grow so dense that i can't catalog it so readily anymore.

also, i admit it was mean to keep her socks.
